Extruded three-layer PE/PP coated

Nowadays Ferrum S.A. is the main Polish manufacturer of the anticorrosive, extruded, three- layer, polyethylene coating on steel pipes. The coating technology allows to obtainon pipe the anticorrosive three-layer polyethylene coating which consist of:

The coating is applied on steel pipes of diameters from 159,0 mm to 1420 mm and of 18,0 m length, its properties conform with the requirements of ISO DIS 21809-1, DIN 30670/30678, NFA 49-710, EN 10285 standard  or even exceed them. The thicknesses of coating in relation with the diameter in normal and reinforced execution according to DIN 30760/30678 are given in table.

The coating manufacturing process consists of the following operations:

An extruded polyethylene coating has higher mechanical properties in comparison with cold applied polyethylene tape coating. Anticorrosive coatings made of three-layer PE/PP are characterised by:

Note: for the diameters over 1420 mm Ferrum S.A. can made coating by polyethylene tapes acc. to DIN 30672 class B30, C30 and C50.
